Sam Himself likes to describe his style as “Western Fondue”, and it’s very apt. From Basel, his home canton, he moved to New York ten years ago to develop his artistic personality. He then created a pop universe with dark corners, carried by his baritone voice in crooner mode. The whole thing slides on slow but catchy rhythms, completely melancholic.
