Since her first releases in 2021, Lakna has had a string of important moments: concerts, nominations, and then in 2023 she was spotted by Warner. With her new EP UTC-O – the time zone of Burkina Faso – the artist begins a two-stage journey that will end with the release of GMT+1 – the time zone of Switzerland. It’s a way of honouring two parts of her, exploring different musical influences and moods, from afro soul to electro-pop, via rnb and soul.
