Of French-Moroccan heritage, Ouidad grew up in Casablanca before moving to France. Although she holds a PhD in pharmacy, she ultimately chose a career in music and made a name for herself with her viral covers. She performs sensitive pop music, blending French and Arabic influences. Her debut album, due out on 20 November, promises to mark a new chapter. A soft voice full of character.
