For this new album Bertrand Belin has chosen to explore new sonic landscapes. The piano adds an extra touch of grace to the skillful blend of electronics, guitar and drums used on his most recent albums. The themes are existential, about our place, our impulses, our fears and questions. The artist sings even more than usual, and her prose gives her legendary, paradoxical minimalism a new tree structure.
With a string of successful collaborations and recognitions already under her belt, Milla continues to forge her path – quite obviously – in the world of music. The singer-songwriter offers songs that are both soothing and thought-provoking, like interludes narrated by a soft and calming voice. In other words, her music radiates a melancholic sweetness imbued with great maturity. For this show, she will be accompanied by Arno Cuendet.
