Founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, Wet Leg have spent the last few years on the road, playing fierce, electrifying concerts. The band then chose to retreat to the countryside to write moisturizer, due for release on 11 July. This new album offers a bolder, more confident sound: frantic guitars, heavy rhythms and an unwavering devotion to feeling everything, all at once.
2018, Provence, two brothers at their grandfather’s house. It was there that Virgile and Elliott decided to form their duo: it would be called Faux Real and would combine synth-pop, hyperpop, and glam rock in a carefree way. A name that sums it all up, between artificial and real, between lies and truth, the brothers brilliantly entertain with their uninhibited choreography and crazy shows.
