Formed in San Francisco in the early ‘90s, The Brian Jonestown Massacre – you’ll have spotted the Rolling Stones nod – have seen quite a few members pass through their ranks over the decades. One key figure, however, has not changed: singer and guitarist Anton Newcombe. From their beginnings to the present day, Anton and his band have continued to infuse their music with psychedelic, indie, garage and shoegaze rock – in other words, lively, alternative rock with a complex, pleasing texture.
