Maarten Devoldere is no stranger to the Docks scene, having played there several times with Balthazar. But with Warhaus, his solo project, this will be a first. With Warhaus, we discover the sound palette favoured by the artist, a melodious and melancholy rock carried by his characteristic voice: a voice of sweetness and stories, which tells and transports. A sort of modern-day Leonard Cohen.
Belgian multi-instrumentalist Oliver Symons, aka Warhola, will be opening for Warhaus with his indescribable style, a mix of indie electronica, pop and R&B sounds. Also active in other bands, including Bazart, Oliver seems to have no limits to his creativity, and we’re dancing along, delighted and amazed.
