On January 14, 2024, THEODORT posted a video on his YouTube channel, followed by almost 3 million people: “It’s the end…”. But rather than an end, it was a beautiful beginning, the official transition to music. It was also the arrival of Imad, his middle name, and the name of his first album. On the latter, the artist engages several styles that are dear to him, from afropop to Fuji, via rap and afro-gospel. A gentle blend, like a quest for meaning and identity.
