The Pretenders‘ frontwoman, Chrissie Hynde, shines on stage, behind her guitar or simply at the microphone. She and the band will be honouring us with a concert, 46 years after the group was formed. You’ll be treated to chic, melodious, sometimes tender, timeless rock, guided by a charismatic, bewitching voice.
The Picturebooks bring that American feel-good vibe with them: ringing guitars, raspy vocals, blues and rock’n’roll influences, you can see yourself hitting the road with no return date. But beyond the daydreams, the duo’s convincing rock is sure to warm up the venue before the Pretenders’ stage entrance.
