“If Matisse made house music” – these are the words with which we enter the world of berlioz. Under this alias hides the young producer Ted Jasper, a little prodigy. In just a few tracks, he’s brought together the best of downtempo house with the cream of the British jazz scene. A magical combo of laid-back sounds, nostalgic melodies and saxophone flights. Visuals clearly inspired by the French painter accompany the whole, as if to complete the equation of a hypnotising universe.
