After a missed rendezvous in 2021, it was time for Delgres to finally take to the stage. Through its sounds, the group plunges us into a history as long as it is intense. Named in tribute to Louis Delgres, a rebellious anti-slavery officer from Guadeloupe in the early 19th century, the trio’s electric blues is enhanced by lyrics in Creole. The words bounce off each other with grace and accuracy in a blend of inspirations and cultures that is utterly inspiring, gripping and searing.
Gerber Noir is the union of three talents: Simon Gerber (ex-musician to Sophie Hunger and musician to Stephan Eicher), Sophie Noir and Claude Kamber. Together, they offer a world of blues sung in both English and French, and performed to perfection. Rock, pop and soul are not far away to complete the warm equation. Feel good guaranteed.
