Last summer at Rock the Lakes, the members of Hatebreed gave us an explosive and absolutely memorable live performance. So it was time to welcome them to our stage to rock out to their hardcore metal, as powerful as it was when they started out more than 30 years ago. From their discography, we particularly remember The Divinity of Purpose, but also their latest single released in July 2025, Make the Demons Obey, proof if ever it were needed that the band is still bursting with energy and ambition.
Despite changes in its line-up, I Killed the Prom Queen has managed to stay true to its artistic vision over the years. The band was formed back in 2000. More than a quarter of a century later, the Australian band continues to bring its high-energy metalcore to the forefront and is sure to get the crowd fired up perfectly before Hatebreed’s show.
