Suede

When a band like Suede releases an album as powerful as Antidepressants in 2025, it’s proof that they’re at the top of their game. Despite various changes and departures within the band over the years, they have remained a pillar of alternative Britpop since the 1990s. In this 10th album, they explore the tensions of the modern world and feelings of anxiety, attempting to rekindle bonds between people in order to move towards a better future and reconnect with others and with oneself.

After several singles and EPs, swim school released their first eponymous album in 2025, including a deluxe version featuring older tracks. We dive with pleasure into their polished but not overdone rock universe, with grunge, shoegaze and indie pop influences. The Scottish band’s album was produced with Iain Berryman (Wolf Alice, Sam Fender, etc.) and promises to take them far from their native land.
