Formed in Lausanne in 1988, Sens Unik made its mark in the 1990s and brought Swiss hip-hop to international attention with legendary tracks such as ‘Le vent tourne’ and ‘Paquito’ and their incredible group energy. But in 2010, the band split up so that each member could pursue other projects. So it’s quite unexpected that a new tour is now taking shape, 15 years after they stopped performing. Just enough time to re-play their albums and get ready for the big day.
Oks Rouge cut his teeth between Tours and Paris before settling in Switzerland, where he has enjoyed a string of successful collaborations, travelling across the country from Geneva to Zurich via Lausanne. A member of the independent label 12 Monkeys alongside Ron Brice and Rapper Cham since 2024, he has developed a groovy hip-hop style with infectious vibes.
