Lewis, May, Charlie, Luke, Tyler and Georgia – saxophone, keyboard, drums, guitar, bass and violin – form Black Country, New Road. Each member uses his or her own instrument to create a purely organic sound synonymous with shared emotions: (post)-rock, jazz, experimental, the coming together of their creative talents produces a unique and intoxicating result. Formed in 2018, the band is quickly making a name for itself and has built up a solid fan base, fans who should be delighted of this unique Swiss show.
Westside Cowboy have only released one single so far, yet the band already seem to be firmly rooted in the English indie-rock tradition. After starting out with a series of mindless jam sessions, the Manchester friends finally decided to take things a step further and put all their talent together on this acclaimed, masterful single. The band have also just won the Emerging Talent Competition at the Glastonbury Festival, proof – if any were needed – that the future looks bright.
