12 members, 12 sensibilities, 12 ways of understanding life, all linked in a single coherent whole. Since 2006, the Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp XXL gives free rein to its imagination to encompass the different worlds of its musicians. The eclecticism is perfectly mastered, gathered in compositions combining jazz, rock or afro-beat while passing by transcendental, round, deep atmospheres. Obsessed by the sounds, we want to dive in. Their new single Beginning is out now. The album that will follow – the fifth, already – will be released on July 5th, 2021.
It doesn’t take much for the Meril Wubslin trio to mesmerize us. Delightful vocal harmonies, depth of rhythm – slow as we like it – and lots of repetitions, the group hits the right spot to encourage us to let go. We let ourselves wander. Their songs take care of our souls and form a sweet mix between lullabies and meditations. They eliminate our worries, bring us back to a universal and beneficial sound. An ingenious folk-rock composed by Christian Garcia-Gaucher, Valérie Niederoest and Jérémie Conne.
