For reasons beyond our control, Fu Manchu’s concert at the Docks, originally scheduled for June 13, 2022, has sadly been cancelled.
All tickets are refunded at point of purchase but at the latest on July 13, 2022. For the tickets purchased online, no further action is required, the amount will be refunded on the payment method used for the purchase of the tickets, unless our ticketing provider states otherwise or contact you back.
Here is a statement from the band: ‘It is with great regret that Fu Manchu has to cancel some of the shows planned for our European Tour in June. This is due to some personal circumstances within the band and we will now be coming to Europe to perform at Azkena Rock Festival (ES), Freak Valley Festival (DE) and Graspop Metal Meeting (BE) only. The shows scheduled for September and October with support from Electric Citizen are still going ahead as planned. We apologise to the fans that had bought tickets and are working on ways to possibly reschedule these dates sometime in the future.’

Fu Manchu released Clone of the Universe, with Il Mostro Atomico as the closing track; 18 minutes and 7 seconds of fuzz rock, accompanied by the guitar of Alex Lifeson, founding member of the mythical RUSH. Flashback. In 1990, the Californians unveiled their first single, Kept Between Trees. 2020 marked the 30th anniversary of the band. Because of Covid, the birthday party is postponed. Don’t worry, a constancy will remain: with them, each note is a hypnosis session.

Prayers Are For Cowards, South Is The New West or Heavy Live A Rose, on every track the trio from Lausanne goes wild, and us with it. We can already imagine the live show: noisy, burning, thundering. Devilishly good.
