Temples embody a spirit of exploration, adventure and constantly pushing boundaries. In their new project BLISS (due for release on June 26), the British band reinvents itself by incorporating electro elements into their instantly recognisable sound. Between euphoria and melancholy, always steeped in a vintage atmosphere, the band continues to bring a breath of fresh air.
Metro Verlaine is a story of passion and electricity, born out of a trip to London and a visceral love for post-punk, the CBGB scene and gritty pop. Since 2013, the duo have been carving out their own path between dark pop and raw energy. Following a highly acclaimed debut EP and three albums, the band will release RODEORAMA next autumn. More direct and cinematic, the album delves deeper into introspective and contrasting songwriting, driven by dark and elegant pop that pays close attention to both words and imagery.
