Rock, definition. With Wolfmother, the word takes on its full meaning. Psychedelic, hard, heavy… Completely timeless, undeniably powerful, the style finds all its nuances here. Often compared to giants (Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple), the band formed by Australian Andrew Stockdale in 2000 continues to delight its fans with the same intensity.
In the ten years since HEY SATAN first cranked up their amps, the Lausanne-based band has lost none of its energy, nor its desire to do battle with the smouldering remnants of ’70s rock, blended with the spirit of hardcore punk and stoner rock. Still a trio – with Ian on bass (Kruger, Unfold), François (vocals/guitar) and Frank (drums) – they continue to churn out riffs and pay tribute to – amongst others – The Stooges, Kyuss and Black Sabbath. The good news is that they’ve announced a third album for 2027.
